Fund Projects: Color Feast Beasts Kickstarter Project

Fund Projects: Color Feast Beasts Kickstarter Campaign

You know I like to pass on opportunities to fund projects by indie artists. It’s that time again!

Color Feast Beasts is a children’s book being developed by Just Our Thought in Missouri. They’d love to be able to print hardbound copies of their story, as well as produce an eBook and 12″ plush toy to go along with it. Even more than that, they’d love to be able to afford to have the rest of the hand-painted pages of the book created!

More On the Story

(from the Color Feast Beasts Kickstarter page):

The seasons are a beautiful thing. We shape our lives around them, we dream about them, we are inspired by them. They can set the mood on any day. Probably the most fascinating aspect of the seasons involves the colors that define them. Showing our children the differences between each season and the colors that make them unique is as important as math, geography, or the alphabet.

The Color Feast Beasts casually teaches, but more importantly tells the story of magical creatures called Yooms. When autumn arrives, the subterranean Yooms travel above ground to gather the colors so they can rest for the winter. When spring comes, the Royal Sunbirds of Saint Magoo soar from land to sea, redistributing the colors amongst the earth.

Pledge Packages Galore!

Just Our Thought’s put a lot of… well… thought into their Thank You packages. I like their focus on thanking the supporters that fund projects – they appreciate literally every level of pledges received. Is 5 bucks all you can afford? They’ll thank you on Twitter. Have room in your budget to support them with $1000? They’ll call you personally to thank you over the phone.

This is a really great project and I love the super bright happy colors in the artwork – but that should be no surprise to you by now.

Share the love – fund projects by indie artists today!
